A Little Bit of Everything Post

I thought about dedicating a post to just Hutch, but I knew that many of you may be wanting an update on Hazel, and then I realized I had a bunch of misc. pics I had not posted yet, so here is a post that contains just about everything but the kitchen sink. First of all, Hazel is doing sooooo much better. We can't thank all of you enough for your thoughts and prayers. We have so appreciated all of the phone calls, texts, facebook updates, cards, etc. We know that little Hazel has had many, many family & friends rooting for her recovery! She is just about back to her 'ole self. Her breathing has greatly improved & we are working on getting her back to eating normally. She is definitely eating alot, but we are so anxious to just pump her full of fluids (she was not eating much while sick), that we have thrown our scheduling out the window. So, I hope to get back to that once we know she is 100% and eating as she should be. Hopefully, that will begin within the next day or two.
Jarrod and Casey have been such a huge help during all of this. Here is a pic of them with Hazel and Hutch prior to Hazel getting sick.
Hutch loves his Aunt Casey!

We were so excited to see Shannon when she came by to meet Hazel. Hazel took quite a liking to her, as you can see.
We didn't take many pics while Jeremy's mom was here, but here is one.
Little Hazel Claire. Check out those eyes.
Haley was here all week to help out- don't know what we would have done without her! Hutch and I took her back to Houston yesterday. We decided that Hutch needed an afternoon out, so we took him to the Aquarium downtown. Oh my gosh- he LOVED it! He was fascinated by the grouper tank. In fact, we left this "room" and kept walking, and it only took a few minutes for him to grab my hand and pull me back to check these fish out again. Jeremy stayed behind in Austin with Hazel- his dreams of Hutch loving to fish are looking up.
Haley and I couldn't really figure out why they had white tigers at the Aquarium, but we weren't complaining or asking questions. When Hutch saw the tiger for the first time, he started yelling, "Doggie! Doggie!!!" and pounding on the glass. Not really sure what the other spectators thought, but we sure thought it was too cute.
Look at how tiny Hutch looks.

We also took Hutch on the ferris wheel that practically hangs over I45. I have never been scared of heights, but it made me so nervous to have the little fella up so high. I love this pic- Hutch is so not wanting his picture to be taken and Haley still manages to smile (although noticably forced) while trying to settle him down.
Shame the light is so bright, as I love this picture!

If this doesn't scream, "fun" I don't know what does.
Hutch is thinking, "get started already. "

Hutch put on quite a show when he heard a tune he liked. He just cut a rug right there on that shark bench. He left with quite a few more fans than he had when we got there. Here are some action shots.

We capped the visit off by throwing some coins into the fountain. Hutch emptied us both out.
We finished off the night by a delish dinner at one my Houston fave's, Cafe Adobe. It was just as tasty as ever. Hutch had a ball there, too, and I think he really just enjoyed the day with his Aunt Haley and Mama. We sure missed Carly, Marc, and Ryder! Carly & Marc were in Vegas for a wedding (jealous- love Vegas). Thanks a ton for everything, Haley! We love you and are so thankful for you!!!! Can't wait to see you again in a couple of weeks!

I will close this post with the following pics. Remember the disco? Well, we have pulled it out for Hazel and Hutch seems to like it just as much now as he did almost 2 years ago.

Sniff, sniff, where does time go?

We are heading to MS on Wed. to finally take Hazel to meet everyone. I am so excited and just can't wait to bring her home! Jeremy and Hutch are coming too, but they are going to fly back on Monday, whereas Hazel & I are staying until next Friday. Yay, we are so excited!
I will try to post some new pics of Hazel before we head out. Hope everyone has a great week!
