We'll Miss You, Diesel

Loosing a pet is one of the most heart-breaking things you can go through. They bring us so much happiness & get so excited about just the smallest things. And it doesn't matter what kind of day you've had or what kind of mood your in or how long it's been since you last saw your dog- they are always absolutely thrilled to see you. This is a perfect depiction of Diesel. Wow, that dog could bark. He would get so excited to just hear the garage door open. He barked if the wind blew, honestly. He was just a happy dog. All the time.

I wanted to dedicate this post to little "Diesel-dee" who left our family way too soon this week. Diesel, we miss you more than you know and still find it surreal that you aren't running around our backyard each day when we get home. Levi doesn't quite know what to do without you, but we keep telling him he will see you again someday. We know there are more than enough squirrels for you to chase up in doggie heaven, along with more treats than you ever thought possible and endless items designed simply for you to mark your territory. I am convinced you are barking like crazy and having the time of your life. Know that we love you, miss you, and think of you all the time. Thank you for all of the joy you brought to our lives along with all of the joy you brought to Carly's life!
