Grands & Great-Grands

Jeremy headed to Austin this weekend to help Jarrod celebrate his birthday. Although I was SUPER jealous, we were able to easily entertain ourselves at my parents and grandparent's all weekend. Here are some pics that I took:

Hutch sitting out in the yard in the new chair my parents bought for him. Just taking a break from picking up sticks!

Big boy with his snacks. And, representing his 2 favorite teams, if you didn't notice!

Hutch was so excited that Pop let him help mow the grass on his "big tractor." I am not sure who had more fun- Hutch or my Dad.

Hutch had so much fun, I am almost tempted to jump on that mower next time. Almost.

Hehe. This is probably one of those pics that Hazel will hate me for later.

One of Hazel's signature expressions.

Hazel caught my Dad waving to her while out in the yard & this was her response....ahhh, melts my little heart!

This look means, "Oh, don't mess with me brother! I'm the captain of this ship!" And look at sweet Hutch. Oh, poor thing....as soon as Hazel can formulate words, we are going to have a new sheriff in town.

Looooooovvvvveeeee.

And, I couldn't resist another one. Hatless. Just so y'all can see all that blonde hair. You probably notice there is no ribbon. Hazel hates ribbons. So, I am now waiting for pigtails. :)

Hazel loved the Cozy Coop. Actually, she really did like it, not that you can tell from this photo.

Big smiles! And something wierd going on with the angles of this pic. So, just focus on the big smiles, please.

Enjoying a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Utica

Practice makes perfect, right?

We found a big stick!

Hazel entertaining. OR maybe it's the other way around.

Best group shot I could get

So excited about this weekend- Jeremy & I are headed to Clarksdale with my parents to celebrate my birthday! As you may know, we LOVE Clarksdale, so we are so excited about going again & taking my parents with us this time. It should be a blast! Will post pics soon!

Hello, Hazel!

I promised some pics of the Hazel girl, so here you go. And, of course, there are a few of Hutch thrown in as an added bonus! Sorry, I can't get this stupid underline thing turned off. And, it's early. Like, REALLY early, and I'm not too motivated to try & figure it out. :)

We Heart Weekends!

Mom, Jan, Hutch, and I headed over to Baton Rouge a few weeks ago to meet up with Carly & Ryder. We had no plans & just enjoyed kickin' it at the hotel for the night. It was so nice & relaxing & it was so much fun watching Hutch & Ryder hang out. If you read Carly's blog, this is obviously old news, but better late than never! Here are Hutch & Ryder with their light sabers that Lolli bought them. I picked them out. And everyone loved me for it. :) This would be Reason #1 why Hutch's light saber is now hidden in his closet. What was I thinking? Ryder was too busy trying to figure out how out it worked.
Love. This. Sweet. Face. And check out those THIGHS!

So, Hutch thought it was really funny to touch his toes so we could all see Thomas on his underpants. (And, NO, we were not egging him on by yelling "CHOO! CHOO!!") So, then, Ryder thought it was really funny and he would touch his toes, too. But, as you can see, I was never able to catch a good shot of both of them with my camera. Carly managed to get one, though.

AND, now Hutch is doing it.

This went on for about 5 minutes. Hutch would touch his toes, then Ryder would touch his. There was lots of laughing & shouting during all of this, if you can imagine.

Cousins!!! Up to no good, I am sure.

Totally engrossed in cartoons. I mean, we are talking in the zone here.

Cheesin it up so I will stop requesting him to "say cheeeeeese" for the camera & he can get back to his cartoons, uninterrupted.

Last weekend, we took Hutch to the Dixie National Rodeo parade. It was FREEZING! I know what y'all are thinking....what about Hazel? Don't worry- while we were in BR, she got to spend some quality time with her Daddy. And, we were going to take her to the parade but it was SO cold and we knew she would be miserable. My next post will be all about Hazel, I promise!

WHOA! Check out those beads!!!! Someone racked up!

Here she is! We had fun with hats on Sunday!

Hope this finds all of you doing well- so glad it is finally Friday. Yay! Have a great one, everybody!

A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Hi, friends! Long time, no blog....sorry about that. Not really sure where the time has gone over the past week or two. We have been busy just playing and hanging out over here- what have y'all been up to? Here are a few pics from the past couple of weeks.

We met Leahbeth, Whit, and Caroline at the park last Saturday for some fun in the sun. Here are Caroline & Hazel catching either up on the latest.

Whit, the recently turned 5 year old!

Last Saturday, we bared the super chilly weather and headed to a festival downtown at the Art Museum. While we didn't stay too long, it was fun to get out and see some friends and support Jackson!

Jeremy, Mandie, Travis, and Brandon. Hutch let Brandon borrow his hat since it was so cold outside.

Me & Hutch cuttin' a rug.

Little Hazel feeling the rythmn.

Hazel loves taking a cruise down the hallway. She is not walking on her own yet, but I think we are getting there.

We had fun meeting Jan at the park on MLK Day. And, even though it was super windy, Hutch had a ball on the slides.

It was a little too cool for Hazel's taste, but she hung in there.

Don't know about you guys but I am sooooo glad it is finally the weekend. Mom, Hutch, Jan, and I are heading to Baton Rouge to meet up with Carly and Ryder for the night. I am so excited!!!! I am looking forward to relaxing, eating, and spending time with my sister- Haley, wish you could make a quick trip in from Thailand to join us! Have a great weekend, everyone!
