All Inclusive

It's all here, folks. I had intended on posting several times over the past couple of weeks to avoid this. You know, the "everything but the kitchen sink" kinda post. But, needless to say, that didn't happen, so this post contains the following: Tball, baseball, the Boone Annual Croquet Tourney, visit to Utica, and Jarrod and Casey coming to town. Phew. I am exhausted just typing all of that. :) SO, we have had tons of fun these past few weeks & here are the snapshots to prove it.

Hutch L.O.V.E.S tball. We had a rough go at it his first practice. But, we have just chalked that up to an off day b/c since then, he has been great. He even got the game ball last week! And, it is quite entertaining for us. At one point, he hit the ball, and instead of running to first base, he ran after the ball attempting to catch it. Funny little fella.

Hazel didn't understand why she couldn't be out on that field with her big brother and Daddy.

Love the part at the end where they shake hands and say "good game." Never too young to teach good sportsmanship as far as I am concerned.

Jeremy's work had an outing a couple of weeks ago at the MS Braves game. Hutch got his face painted.

Hazel just rocked it in her shades.

Then, Hutch decided to rock it in his shades, too. How cool is this dude?

The Boone Annual Croquet Tourney was just as successful as ever, though, it has changed quite a bit over the years. This was the first time there has ever been a blown up swim pool and lots of littles running around enjoying it. Hazel stopped for a moment to pose with her Lolli.

Here is Jefferson, Rivers, Hutch and Hazel just hanging out.

The tourney in progress. Jeremy was actually crowned the 2012 Tourney Champ. Way to go!!!

Love this- Hazel and her bestie, Rivers.

Hazel didn't know what to think about Mike and Travis. But she sure did love swinging next to them. She almost fell asleep!

The next day, we just hung out at my parents while Jeremy and the boys played golf. Popsicles make hot days bearable.

Hutch loves to make his sister laugh. And he is usually pretty good at it.

Check out the belly on this one.

 Hutch loves the pool!!!1

Last Saturday we headed to Utica to see tons of cousins that were in town. We had so much fun! And, it was great to see all the little ones-wish we could see them more often!

Mee Maw, Jill, Claire, and Becca.

Jill, Me, Hazel, Jenny, and Marianne.

Sweet little Marianne- looks just like her Daddy!

Caught a lovely smile from Hazel on the way home.

We were THRILLED Jarrod and Casey decided to make the long haul in from Austin for the weekend. We had so much fun just hanging out at the house & relaxing. We spent some time down at The Point Sunday morning.

 Check out those curls.

 The H's inspecting Jeremy's catch.

 Group shot!

Love the water in the background!!!

Sometimes, it's all you can do to get this girl to smile! Regardless, they love their Uncle Jarrod!

Nothing beats playing in the "minnah" bucket.

This picture cracks me up b/c it looks like Hazel is dancing.

 Love this sweet face!

AND, love this sweet face, too!!!

Uncle Jarrod and Hutch had cereal together the morning they left.

Love these guys- wish we could them more often! :( We had so much fun & Hutch and Hazel had a blast with them here!

So, I told you there was alot! We had some friends over Monday to grill out but I neglected to take any pics. I will have to grab some from Jessie later to post. We have nothing going on this weekend except for a tball game on Saturday...really looking forward to some r & r! Hope you guys are doing well & that you all had a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend. So thankful for those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy the freedoms we do today. God bless our troops and their families!

I'm Back!!!!

Ok, I am going to try this again....hopefully, the last experience updating my blog was a result of lost patience? We'll see if I have better luck this time :) How is everyone? What have y'all been up to? Things have been quite busy around our house. Hutch started tball a couple of weeks ago (at this point, he has only had one practice session and it resulted in us leaving about 30 minutes into it due to an absolute meltdown- by Hutch, in case you were wondering). Hutch has also begun swim lessons, which he LOVES. Here are a few pics from the past couple of weeks!

 Tball....prior Meltdown of 2012.

Last Saturday, Jeremy went fishing, so what did we do? Well, I am glad you asked. We played outside in the rain. And it was a blast.

I think it started out as, "Ok, you can go outside but it's raining, so stay on the porch!" Then, Hazel got brave and started running into the rain & then running back in. They were having so much fun, I just let them go to town. It was one of those, "Oh, well, they're happy" moments. It really was quite fun.

Hutch enjoyed splashing in the puddles

 And....leaving footprints

And, of course, there was sidewalk chalk involved. Hazel liked to eat it. SO, eventually it was put up.

 Our little Picasso

 All smiles!

And things REALLY got fun when we pulled out the umbrella

Hazel was super excited when her Daddy got home. She didn't seem to mind that his golf game was rained out.

We had Mee Maw, Paw Paw and my parents over for lunch on Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day. It was so great to spend this day with such special people- I only wish the other mothers that mean so much to me lived closer to attend!

 The ladies!

The ladies + 1 extremely unhappy little fella

Everyone minus Jeremy (he was the picture-taker) and my Dad (he had already left at this point). Diggin' Hutch's fake smile. Nice.

After everyone left, we headed back outside for a few hours. The weather was AMAZING! Hazel wanted to check out the ferns to make sure they got plenty of water.

Watch out! It's a John Deere and a traveling cow! Hazel needed a thumb break.

Hutch has a new obsession. Rolly pollys. Those poor little guys. He will find about 2 of them and pick them up. And put them down. And roll them around in his hand. And put them in cracks that are in the concrete. And try to get them out. And "hop" with them. Which, in Hutch language, means throwing them on the ground. We tried to have a conversation with him about this last night, and told him that he needs to be gentle with these little critters so he doesn't hurt them. Apparently, it didn't work so well. I guess he thinks since they are in a ball, it's ok to throw them. Why wouldn't you throw a ball? Makes no sense!

Well, that is it for now. And, just to let you know, this was quite easy! I am not cursing or pacing or yelling at my computer. Not that I EVER do that. :) Maybe this means I am back on the blogging train? :)

Happy Friday Eve! Hope you have big plans! We are headed to a bday party tomorrow night, a MS Braves game on Saturday w/ Jeremy's work, and then over to my parents for their annual croquet tourney Saturday evening. Should be a fun one! XOXO
